Experience the timeless elegance of our artisan-crafted Kantha throw blanket, hand-stitched with care and perfection, using the traditional Kantha stitch. Made from 100% cotton, this luxurious throw features a stunning hand-block printed deep blue floral motif, achieved through an age-old process where wood carvers craft beautiful hand-carved wooden blocks that are then dipped in dyes and pressed onto the fabric to create the artisan design.

Our skilled Kantha quiltmakers take this exquisitely printed fabric and carefully stitch it onto a cotton base. Each blanket is crafted with extraordinary attention to detail, ensuring every throw is unique. With so much care and craftsmanship going into each piece, you can expect slight variations in each blanket’s appearance – a testament to its uniqueness and authenticity.

Perfect for draping over your sofa, chair, or bed, our Kantha throw blends traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design, making it an ideal choice for any boho, country, farmhouse, or traditional/classical home. Enhance your home with this exquisite piece that offers comfort and style while supporting sustainable practices and local artisans. This Handmade Throw Blanket brings masterful craftsmanship and superior quality to your home and a story of tradition and dedication.

More About Block Printing:
Because no machinery is involved in the hand block process, each throw is rendered unique.

- An intricate design is hand-carved into a wooden block
- The block is dipped into dye
- The block is pressed onto a linen sheet repeatedly until the fabric is covered with the design
- The next block is dipped into the second color, and the process is repeated until the design is complete
- Once the dye has set, the cotton sheets are hand-stitched together, securing the cotton stuffing in the middle
