Discover the unique charm of our Handmade Quilt for Sale, a true masterpiece of artisan craftsmanship. Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of the San Juan Mountains in Ouray, Colorado, this quilt celebrates nature's beauty and the intricate art of block printing.
Each Cotton Quilt in our collection is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans who employ traditional hand-carving techniques to create the block-printed designs that adorn both sides of this Modern Quilt. The main side features an abstract depiction of mountains under a sunset in stunning shades of yellow, orange, and midnight blue, evoking the spirit of Indian Bedspreads with a contemporary twist. On the reverse, a minimalist yet striking pattern of a yellow circle with blue stripes offers a serene Boho Quilt aesthetic, perfect for transforming any bedroom into a peaceful retreat.
Available in both King Comforter and Queen Size Quilt options, our quilts are designed to fit a variety of bed sizes, ensuring that you can find the perfect match for your space. Made from 100% cotton, these quilts are not only beautiful but also provide the comfort and softness that only high-quality materials can offer.
Each quilt is a testament to the dedication and skill of the artisans who create them, from the wood carvers who craft the blocks to the quiltmakers who stitch each piece by hand. The result is a Block Printed Quilt that is as unique as it is beautiful, making it a stunning addition to any home.

More About Block Printing:
Because no machinery is involved in the hand block process, each comforter is rendered entirely unique.
- An intricate design is hand-carved into a wooden block
- The block is dipped into dye
- The block is pressed onto a cotton sheet repeatedly until the fabric is covered with the design
- The next block is dipped into the second color, and the process is repeated until the design is complete
- Once the dye has set, the cotton sheets are hand-stitched together, securing the cotton stuffing in the middle
