Wrap yourself in the comfort and elegance of our 100% Cotton Throw Blanket, a testament to the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. Each blanket, adorned with a stunning Lotus Print, is a unique piece brought to life through the traditional art of block printing and the meticulous technique of Kantha stitching. This process, deeply rooted in history, involves carving intricate designs into wooden blocks, then dipped in dye and pressed onto cotton, layer by layer, color by color, until the entire piece is vibrant with design. Finally, the dyed cotton sheets are hand-stitched together, creating a throw that's as durable as it is beautiful.
Our Block Printed Throw is more than just an accessory for your home; it's a piece of art that brings warmth and personality to any space. Whether draped over a couch, laid at the foot of a bed, or tucked into your favorite reading nook, this throw invites you to experience the unique story it tells through its patterns and colors. The blend of coral, blue, and green hues, set against a white base, makes it a versatile piece that complements any decor.
Choosing this Hand-Stitched Kantha Throw means bringing a slice of tradition into your home while enjoying the practical comforts of a modern lifestyle. It's an invitation to slow down, appreciate the finer details, and celebrate the handcrafted beauty that only a throw made with such care and skill can provide

More About Block Printing:
Because no machinery is involved in the hand block process, each throw is rendered unique.
- An intricate design is hand-carved into a wooden block
- The block is dipped into dye
- The block is pressed onto a cotton sheet repeatedly until the fabric is covered with the design
- The next block is dipped into the second color, and the process is repeated until the design is complete
- Once the dye has set, the cotton sheets are hand-stitched together
